Our business often demands samples testing to check if the product suitable for the particular customer or not. We highly appreciate the readiness of the producers and suppliers to provide us with the samples and all the necessary support.

A most important aspect of sampling is urgency of delivery. There are lots of companies providing international delivery services including delivery of documents and small packages. After several years of dealing with different International Couriers, we would like to share with you our experience and give you some advice on which courier to choose in order to make the process of sampling to Russia convenient and effective.

1. FedEx and EMS are the best for small packages of samples of different kinds. Delivery by EMS usually takes longer time, but they do not have problems with customs clearance in return.

2. DHL is a respectable company, highly experienced in international deliveries, but we often have difficulties while receive parcels through DHL. We realize that difficulties happen due to the specific requirements of the Local Customs, but as a customer we would prefer to avoid any additional expenses. We wouldn’t recommend sending samples of Aromatic Chemicals, Food quality substances (like Olive oil) and Animal Products (like beeswaxes) via DHL.

3. We changed our opinion about TNT recently, as we have found many improvements in their service. No problems with TNT now.

4. We have had a troublesome experience of dealing with UPS a couple of years ago. They are suitable only for documents and non-dangerous samples to Russia.

As for the documents, in general, we have no special requirements to couriers.
